Art and Science Collaborative Projects at the Studio for Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon University

The STUDIO for Creative Inquiry is a research center in the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. It was founded in 1989 to support experimental and interdisciplinary work in the arts. Artists initiate and carry out projects during year-long fellowships and collaborate with scientists and technologists.

The goal of the STUDIO is to demonstrate that artists working collaboratively with other professionals, can lead complex processes in both imaginative and useful directions and can have a significant impact on the most important issues and problems of our time.
