The thread which weaves its course through my mixed media and digital work is a means to connect select primordial forms with the layered and nascent tissue of the computer realm. This act is an attempt to highlight the fragility of one filament as it seeks structural definition in tandem with the allusiveness of the other. Visual symbiosis commands the need to move between evolving, layered realms in an act of hybridization, an act whose authenticity is dependent upon an adherence to organic programming and transcendent operations.

My work is meant to be translucent, tactile, and reminiscent of the parchment skin of a catalogued memory. Structurally, the objects within have been seamlessly fused with the armatures and vacant dioramas of the machine. The resulting spatial relationships serve to question the containment of or the staging of what occurs formally. The layout if you will is an homage to a seamstress who sees beyond the initial pattern. My own sense of perception is ultimately informed by seeing beyond a constructed reality to a region that is populated by cells, fibers, or stitches that serve to buttress vanishing tactile processes with emergent technological means.
