This work is a publically interactive sound-light installation composed of sixteen eight-foot columns, each containing audio speakers, lights and photo-electric sensors that enable up to four people to interact with each column at once. ~ Roger Ferragallo's "Cosmic Tree Of Life" (CTOL) is a 546 mega-pixel, photonic, digital painting that has been underway since 2002 and has been issued in 3 iterations: .5, 1.0, and on March 20, 2009: version 2.0. This work remains a work in progress for the foreseeable future. CTOL measures 25 x 15 feet (should it ever be printed) and was primarily designed to be viewed in the emissive photonic light in which it was created. Exhibition venues for displaying this work await the future. However, it is currently being exhibited at the University of California San Diego on the world's largest high resolution screen (HIPerSpace measuring 31.8 x 7.9 feet).
