Being interested in issues of social and environmental conflict, I create montaged works with original and appropriated photography, using archives of the past in current context as a metaphor of history repeating itself. I currently work in a style that mimics old art forms. In ways, this tactic questions photography's truth telling ability, while exploring the relationship between historical and cultural representation and power.
