Artist Statement:
I consider my artwork nature or landscape photography. I try not to represent nature as it appears on the surface, however, but rather our perception of it -- the order that pops out when our neurons meet the world. Each image defines its own space, its own world, within the broader world that we live in. I try to push past ordinary nature photography to reveal the exquisite chaos and reason that lies beyond.
