Amy Ione

Amy Ione is an internationally exhibited artist and lectures internationally about perception, discovery, creativity, innovation, invention, and historical challenges in art and science. She has worked as a consultant on art and science projects for venues such as the San Francisco Exploratorium, has taught the history of science at the university level, and was commissioned by the San Francisco Arts Commission to do the poster/publication artwork for the 40th Annual Civic Arts Festival. Recent projects specifically related to creativity include an invited contribution for the recently released Encyclopedia of Creativity (Academic Press, 1999) and participation in the 1998 International Congress on Discovery and Creativity (Ghent, Belgium).
