Artist Statement: My life's work has been the pursuit of the ineffable. The main consideration of my work is the very same concern that I imagine to be the impetus for the work of almost every artist, simply, the human condition.
Stylistically, I consider my prints to be electronic trompe l'oeil in the
tradition of the 19th c. American painters William Harnett and John F. Peto,
and informed by Ralph Waldo Emerson's notion that 'every object rightly
seen, unlocks a new faculty of the soul'.
