Artist Statement:

Timescape is part of an Exhibition Space portfolio series of prints. A techno surrealist work evoking ideas associated with the observer effect. This is an effect analogous to phenomena in quantum physics, where the observer inadvertently influences the behaviour of subatomic particles, altering reality as it happens. The images here are taken from various moments in history static image events representing moments captured in space and time - interspersed with scientific images of atoms, andtachyons, subatomic particles that travel faster than the speed of light and therefore according to the theory of relativity may move backwards in time.
