Artist Statement:
The process of altering virtual relationships unveils
interesting questions about the
'structure' and 'reality' of visual phenomena, and the degree to which
we can reliably
index or even observe the mediated constructions we think we are viewing.
EELE was a precursor to a current series called "Quarks and Virtual
Artifices", a body
of work that addresses notions about the way we construct reality &
attribute meaning
and the devices that have been instrumental in challenging perceived
modes of signification.
