~ The Kerbal Space Program computer game allows players to create their own space program repleat with space-craft, space station, etc.

~ An up-date for the  MICRONATION/ MACRONATION  "Democratizing the Energy" project. [scroll-down to middle of page]

~ The Department of Making + Doing (DMD), a new collaborative space for "makers" is formed from the collaboration of four Philadelphia art-techno organizations on the University City Science Center's campus in Philly. 

~ KAO (the Kinetic Art Organization) has posted a film documenting the kinetic art in their first outdoor and indoor International Kinetic Art Exhibition that took place early February 2013, Boynton Beach, FL.

~ The Center for Holographic Arts, New York City, recently celebrated its 15th birthday!

~ Bell Laboratories [1962-1975] in Murray Hill, New Jersey/USA, was a hot-bed for some of the earliest computer art and animation in the world. A "who did what/when" is now documented with text, timeline, and extensive references compiled by Dr. A. Michael Noll and posted online May 2013.  [click "Bell Labs Computer Art" in left nav.bar]

~ "Built for Speed" exhibition opens at the Californai Academy of Sciences; thru Sept.29, 2013.

~ The VIVID Festival features its citywide light projections, interactive installations, and talks; Sidney, Australia; 24 May- 10 June 2013.

~ "Economics in Art" exhibition opens at the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, Poland; May 16 - Sept.23, 2013.

~ "MESSENGER OF LIGHT: The Kinetic Art of Frank Malina" celebrates the 100th anniversary of this scientist-artist's birth; the Ladislav Sutnar Gallery at the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czech Republic; thru June 8, 2013.
