ARTIST STATEMENT
I believe the inherent need of human nature to contemplate and understand the nature of the world within and the world without, as art simulates and reveals it, guided me to do this work. In doing this work it seemed to me as if all manifestations of form from the atomic to the galactic were possible this way. It is tempting to believe that such infinity of diverse morphologies derive from or are manifestations of circles (reflection of light) and their motion.
One can question whether from the circular form of the stars and the circular and spiral motion of the stars and galaxy and the motion of the universe, from the reflections upon reflections of light (light as a mirror of reflection) and its motion throughout the cosmos, all form as we know it evolves. I have come to believe that from the light of the "formless," all form is created, and that all form is pre-designed in light (light as a media), and that the light form inhabits all physical form.
