ARTIST-SCIENTIST STATEMENT
"Diaspora" Postulates a post-human future where humanity has drastically reconfigured it's evolution, through biotechnological intervention, simulation and artificial conciousness. After the novel by Greg Egan.
"Terminal Vision" is about adapting the human to the machine through the possibilities afforded by implant surgery and bionics - the jet pilot's brain and perception as part of a sensor system linked directly to a computer, laser and weapons delivery system - psychotechnology - terminal vision.
