ARTIST STATEMENT
These are reworked from a collection of digital photographs I have recently published in a new book entitled self/cell, a collaboration with poet Olivia Sears, published by Spider Woman Press (http://self-cell.com/). These images explore the language of the body and the imagination beneath the glaring light of technology, moving between interior dialogue and scientific discourse. Art and science conjoin to form an alchemical union and to examine fundamental mysteries at the core of existence.
