ARTIST STATEMENT
How do we know what we know? Empiricism and reason meet mystery and magic; are we more than the sum of our biological parts? The images used in this work run the gamut from quantum physics to alchemy, medieval anatomy and astronomy to CT Scans, Pythagorean equations to fractal geometry. The notion that there may be more to truth and reality than what can be detected on a sensory level offers endless possibilities in both subject matter and interpretation.
